Ja'Marr Chase Misses first practice of camp

Coach Zac Taylor said Tuesday that Chase (undisclosed), who missed practice for this first time this training camp, is a situation the Bengals will monitor day-to-day, Ben Baby of ESPN.com reports.
Chase has yet to actually participate in practice in training camp, but until Tuesday he'd been present every day while in street clothes. It remains to be seen whether Chase's absence is related to an injury sustained during private workouts, a personal matter, or his ongoing contract dispute. In any event, it's a new development as the star wide receiver's 'hold-in' continues. The Bengals should provide further clarity about Chase's status in the near future.
