Clyde Edwards-Helaire Missing at least four games

The Chiefs are slated to place Edwards-Helaire (illness) on the reserve/non-football illness list Monday, Field Yates of ESPN reports.
Edwards-Helaire regularly missed practices during training camp due to what seems to be a recurring illness, and he also revealed in July that he deals with post-traumatic stress disorder. The exact nature of Edwards-Helaire's current ailment remains unspecified, but being placed on the NFI list will rule him out for at least the first four games of the season, and position Samaje Perine for a key backup role behind starting running back Isiah Pacheco. Meanwhile, UDFA Carson Steele bumps up into the No. 3 spot.
