Mark Andrews Retakes practice field

Andrews (undisclosed) is participating in Friday's practice, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports.

Andrews is practicing for the first time since having been involved in a car accident Aug. 14. The Ravens released a statement declaring that Andrews was uninjured in the incident, so his absence from practice for the last two weeks seems to have been mostly precautionary. The star tight end now has six days left to ramp up his activity level ahead of Thursday's regular-season opener against the Chiefs on Sept. 5.
