Brown sustained a shoulder injury during Saturday's preseason contest at Jacksonville.

QB Patrick Mahomes connected with Brown on an 11-yard catch on the first play from scrimmage, but afterward the offseason addition appeared to favor his shoulder on the sideline. After a Harrison Butker field goal ended the Chiefs' first drive, Brown was seen making his way to the locker room.
