Allgeier rushed nine times for 52 yards and brought in both targets for 17 yards in the Falcons' 44-38 overtime loss to the Panthers on Sunday.
Allgeier worked in his usual complementary role behind Bijan Robinson, who rushed for a career-high 170 yards and two touchdowns in the close loss. Allgeier's involvement on the ground represented a nice boost from the three carries he'd tallied in Week 17 against the Commanders, and his rushing yardage total was his second highest over the last six games. Allgeier projects to head into 2025, a contract year, in the same role he filled the last two seasons.

Handles three carries in loss

Allgeier rushed three times for 19 yards in Sunday's 30-24 loss to the Commanders.
Allgeier played just 12 percent of the Falcons' offensive snaps Sunday, his second-lowest snap share of the season. The third-year running back was minimally used against Washington while starter Bijan Robinson handled 20 total touches in the contest. Allgeier can be ignored for fantasy purposes as the Falcons visit the Panthers in Week 18.

Allgeier carried the ball 11 times for 22 yards and caught his only target for nine yards in Sunday's 34-7 win over the Giants.
With rookie Michael Penix making his first NFL start, the Falcons leaned heavily on their running game, but Allgeier failed to do much with his volume while watching Bijan Robinson turn 24 touches into 103 scrimmage yards and two rushing TDs. Allgeieir has carried the ball 40 times over the last four games, managing 144 yards and a touchdown, and Atlanta will likely try to feature a run-heavy approach again in Week 17 against the Commanders.
Double-digit carries in win

Allgeier rushed 12 times for 43 yards in the Falcons' 15-9 win over the Raiders on Monday night.
Allgeier logged his highest carry total since Week 8 in the run-centric win, pushing his rushing yardage tally over the last two games to 106 across 21 attempts. Allgeier was left out of the passing game altogether for the second straight contest, and he remains in a strict complementary role to Bijan Robinson, who's now received at least 22 carries in three straight contests, heading into a Week 16 home matchup against the Giants.

Allgeier rushed nine times for 63 yards and a touchdown during Sunday's 42-21 loss to the Vikings.
This was by far Allgeier's best performance since Week 6, when he rushed 18 times for 105 yards and a score - all season-high marks. This was the fifth time in 13 games that Allgeier finished with at least 7.0 yards per carry, and he's now at 5.0 for the season, which would top his career-best 4.9 mark he set as a rookie. Despite the strong outing, Allgeier has garnered double-digit rushing attempts only three times this season and remains a sporadic producer while operating as Bijan Robinson's backup.
Modest production in loss

Allgeier rushed eight times for 16 yards and caught his only target for six yards during Sunday's 17-13 loss to the Chargers.
Allgeier couldn't find any room to operate, and the Falcons' offense as a whole struggled to move the ball consistently. The third-year running back has totaled 50 scrimmage yards in four games this season, but his production has been sporadic as a backup. Allgeier remains a valuable insurance piece for those rostering Bijan Robinson, but the former doesn't have much standalone value.
Minuscule outing in blowout loss

Allgeier didn't record a rushing attempt and caught his only target for minus-one yard during Sunday's 38-6 loss to the Broncos.
Allgeier's lone touch came on the Falcons' first drive, and he recorded only four offensive snaps the entire game. Bijan Robinson dominated the playing time early on, and Atlanta shifted to a pass-happy script after falling behind by double-digits. Rookie Jase McClellan handled all of the garbage-time work. Allgeier remains a solid insurance piece for Robinson, but the former's production as a backup has been sporadic.

Allgeier has earned double-digit touches in three of the last five contests, averaging 10.8 touches for 52.6 yards from scrimmage per game while scoring two rushing TDs. He kicked off Week 11 prep as limited due to a quad injury Wednesday, but his ability to get back to all activity one day later sets him up for a similar workload Sunday in Denver.

Allgeier was a limited practice participant Wednesday due to a quadriceps injury.
Allgeier handled his normal workload in a 20-17 loss to the Saints on Sunday, taking 11 carries for 59 yards. He apparently picked up a quad injury along the way, but his practice participation Wednesday suggests it's nothing serious. Allgeier likely will be ready to work in behind Bijan Robinson this Sunday at Denver.
