Marquise Brown May miss some time

Coach Andy Reid said Brown suffered the same shoulder injury Saturday at Jacksonville that former Chief Tyreek Hill sustained during the 2019 season, Sam McDowell of The Kansas City Star reports.

In the case of Hill, he missed Weeks 2-5 due to a sternoclavicular dislocation that required surgery, per Matt Derrick of ChiefsDigest.com. If Brown follows a similar timetable, his recovery could threaten his availability for Week 1. With Rashee Rice's availability up in the air due to legal woes as well, the Chiefs may enter the upcoming campaign with receiving corps composed of Xavier Worthy, Justin Watson, Skyy Moore and Kadarius Toney (back).
